KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in fulfilling financial statutory duties.
- Focus on financial processing including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, property and utility billings, bank reconciliations and deposits, etc.
- Performing Treasurer role for various municipal committees and boards.
- Assistance with preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and audit processes.
- Collaborating with other staff to achieve successful development and implementation of initiatives, projects, by-laws, policies and funding applications, especially regarding financial elements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business studies from an accredited college or university, a minimum of three years’ experience in a municipal or public sector role, or an equivalent combination of the two.
- A strong working knowledge of USTI Asyst and the Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills.
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills are a must.

- Salary Range (Hourly): $28.62-$34.83
- Full-time/permanent position, working 40 hours per week
